Goats!
This painting was started in the spring, shortly after I visited a goat farm owned by a family friend in Petersham. These girls were huddled together on the chilly day in a small shed, and I snapped their picture for this painting. I love that they looked happy, even on a dreary day! This…

Sam at 9
Finished this panoramic painting of my girl, Sam. I LOVE long weekends, spending the extra day in the studio. Bonus: it was a rainy day – the BEST kind of studio day! UPDATE: This piece was accepted into the inaugural Northeast Fine Arts Exhibit in Ware, on display through the end of October!

Sometimes, you just have to play! These paper mache love birds were started years ago, and had been sitting on a shelf in the studio. Last weekend they were finished off with paint, feathers and wooden elements, and dropped off to sell at my favorite local shop – just in time for Valentine’s Day!

After starting this huge (30″ x 30″) canvas well over a year ago, it’s finally finished! Cabin fever has its benefits – a productive push is happening at Little House… stay tuned – more over-sized pantings are in the works!
