What’s new at the studio

Back to basics

It’s been SO long since I’ve spent any quality time in the studio, just painting. I usually have multiple projects going on at once, and I’ve missed the fun and adventure of just loading up my brushes with gobs of color and seeing where it takes me on a canvas. I gave myself one week to play. By the end of the week, I had several good starts. My next post will show the finished pieces.

*PHEW!*

The elves have finally packed up their messes and have headed back to the North Pole. The winter snow scene mugs were a big hit, so they’ll probably make more in the late fall – in time for 2026 holiday gift-giving!

There’s still time!

To all of my local peeps, there’s still time to pick up some last minute gifts at CC Lowell on Pleasant Street in Worcester! I’m proud to have a display of some of my creations there again this year. But they also have a huge inventory of art supplies–some are packaged in beautiful gift sets–kids’ stuff, cards, and gift items created by other local artists. Shop small and support your local businesses – it really does make a difference!
